Calcium Lactate Double Effect +TVR Evaporation System

Process core: The combined system of double-effect evaporation and thermal steam recompression (TVR) is adopted. In this system, two evaporators are connected in series. The first effect is heated by fresh steam, and part of the generated secondary steam is pumped by TVR and pressurized, which is used as the other part of the heat source of the first effect. The other part introduces the second effect as a heating source. This makes full use of the latent heat of steam, which is more energy-saving than single-effect evaporation, but the efficiency is usually lower than MVR.
Processing capacity: 3 tons of water is evaporated per hour, and the processing capacity is much larger than that of lactic acid system.
Product requirements: Concentrate the calcium lactate solution to a high concentration of 85%, which may eventually produce crystals or supersaturated solutions.
Summary of system characteristics:
Balanced energy efficiency and investment: TVR technology is more energy-saving than simple two-effect evaporation, but lower than the one-time investment of MVR system, so it is a classic economic choice when the treatment capacity is large.
Suitable for high-concentration concentration: Multi-effect design makes the temperature of the material decrease when it is concentrated one by one, which is beneficial to finally obtain high-concentration products without decomposition.
Dependence on external steam: the operating cost is directly related to the price and consumption of raw steam.
There is scaling risk: for high concentration process, scale prevention and cleaning are the key points of operation and maintenance.
