Waste Gas Treatment System Of Food Factory

With the rapid development of the food industry, the scale and quantity of food factories have increased rapidly. 1, food processing plant waste gas composition  

The main components of waste gas from food processing plants are methyl methacrylate, ethyl acetate, ethyl acetoacetate, aldehydes, ammonia, trimethylamine, hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, methyl sulfide and dimethyl disulfide. These waste gases will cause serious harm to human health and ecological environment, ranging from discomfort, headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite and lack of concentration, to varying degrees of toxicity to human respiratory system, circulatory system, digestive system and reproductive system, among which aromatic compounds such as benzene, toluene and styrene can also cause distortion and cancer. Therefore, waste gas treatment in food factories is extremely important.

2, food factory waste gas treatment scheme

(1).Washing method: The waste gas purification tower adopts the most commonly used neutralization method, absorption method, water washing method, etc., and the packed turbulent ball tower with acid and alkali neutralization. This equipment has large treatment capacity, low resistance and high absorption efficiency, and is the most widely used gas purification equipment at present. The treated gas is treated by gas-water separation and liquid removal, and then discharged into the atmosphere through the discharge pipeline, thus reaching the national discharge standard. (2).Photocatalytic oxidation method: A special treatment method that uses special ultraviolet band to break waste gas molecules and further oxidize and reduce them under the action of special catalytic oxidant. At the same time, a variety of composite inert catalysts are configured according to different waste gas components, which greatly improves the speed and efficiency of waste gas treatment, thus achieving the purpose of purifying waste gas.

(3).Low temperature plasma method: In the process of dielectric barrier discharge, particles with extremely high chemical activity, such as electrons, ions, free radicals and excited molecules, are generated in the plasma. The pollutants in the waste gas react with these active groups with high energy, and finally are converted into substances such as CO2 and H2O, so as to purify the waste gas.
